How exactly do you make the beads? TOP
In the simplest explanation, I take a stainless steel mandrel dipped in bead release and melt glass around it. I layer the glass to create a design. I place the finished bead in my kiln and let it anneal.
What kind of torch do you use? TOP
I started on a Hothead, then moved to a GTT Bobcat, but now use a Mini CC.
What kind of kiln do you use? TOP
I have a Jen-Ken kiln with a digital controller. I use it for annealing and for fusing. It is great.
Do you do special orders? TOP
Not at this time. Having said that -- if you win one of my auctions and just want a couple more beads to finish out a project or something, let me know and I will do my best to work with you.
What if my beads crack/break? TOP
Thankfully, no one has actually asked me this question, but if something I make for you breaks, just let me know and I will happily remake it for you. I actually have nightmares about all of the beads I have ever made breaking and people coming after me --- let's all remember they are just glass beads!
